Training

The AMO offers training opportunities for scientists at all levels of experience. Currently 5 graduate students, 2 postdocs and 4 undergraduate students are working on AMO related projects. Since the inception of the AMO in 2000, 5 Ph.D.s have been awarded to graduate students doing work at the AMO (see our list of dissertation titles). More information about the graduate programs associated with the AMO can be obtained from the individual departments of the AMO faculty: Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, Geological Sciences and Environmental Studies.

Undergraduate students interested in the AMO can contact one of the AMO faculty directly. We also participate in an NSF sponsored summer REU program at the Mountain Research Station of the University of Colorado.
